About Toyo Tyres
Toyo Tyres is a Japanese brand that’s been around since ’45 and has been rocking it in Australia for years. They make tyres for everything from your daily ride to hardcore 4WD adventures.
Our partnership with Toyo Tyres came together as naturally as a set of fresh tracks in red dirt. We’ve been running Toyos for a while now, our last set of M/Ts took us over 70,000 kilometres across some of Australia’s toughest terrain without a single complaint. So when it came to choosing tyres for our HJ47 dog rescue campaign, there really wasn’t a second thought.
When we reached out to share our vision for the “Send It for the Strays” campaign, Toyo Tyres jumped on board almost instantly. Their team loved the idea, a rugged old LandCruiser travelling across the country to raise awareness for rescue dogs. It’s a story that perfectly aligns with their own values of endurance, reliability, and purpose-driven adventure.

Toyo Tyres provided us with a brand-new set of tyres specifically suited to the rough terrain we’ll be tackling, from the red sands of the Simpson Desert to the muddy tracks of Cape York. Their team also offered expert advice and fitting, ensuring the setup is not only durable but also optimised for performance across the diverse landscapes ahead.
Installation will be carried out by one of Toyo’s trusted partners, giving the HJ47 the strong foundation it needs to handle everything this trip throws at it.
