OFFROAD EXPEDITION
About Offroad Expedition
When we first heard about Off Road Expedition, a newly opened workshop and hoist-hire space in Brisbane, we immediately felt it was the perfect fit for our dog-rescue campaign and overland build. We reached out to Chris by email—but that message somehow slipped straight into his spam folder.
By pure luck, one of our videos performed well on Instagram, and Chris discovered our project there. Without knowing we had already contacted him, he messaged us to offer his help. At that moment we were driving up from Melbourne to Brisbane, so we arranged to meet as soon as we arrived.
From the very first conversation, Chris was enthusiastic, supportive, and already brainstorming how he could get involved. His reaction to the campaign was nothing but excitement and a genuine desire to contribute.
Off Road Expedition stood out to us for two reasons:
The workshop hire setup, which was exactly what we needed for our full vehicle rebuild.
Chris’ background as a veteran. Bec worked as a Firefighter for 8 years and I previously worked for Disaster Relief Australia, a veteran-based organisation, so we knew right away we’d share values, work ethic, and a sense of purpose.
Offroad Expedition contribution
Off Road Expedition generously provided:
Full access to their workshop and hoists, completely free of charge
Chris’ mechanical knowledge and hands-on support, which became invaluable throughout the build
This contribution not only elevated the quality of the project but also made the process safer, smoother, and far more enjoyable.
The experience with Offroad Expedition
Working with Chris has been nothing short of incredible. Communication has been effortless from day one, so much so that he’s now become a true friend. His professionalism, enthusiasm, and genuine passion for both the build and the cause have shaped this project in ways we never expected.
Offroad Expedition and the cause
Chris connected deeply with both sides of the campaign:
The Overlanding Journey:
He loved that we decided to take on a full vehicle rebuild despite having no mechanical background. To him, the adventure, the learning curve, and the determination behind it were inspiring. The Dog Rescue Mission:
As a dog lover with two dogs of his own, Chris resonated immediately with the rescue aspect. He supported the mission wholeheartedly and was excited to help in any way he could.
This balance of shared values—adventure, learning, community, and animal welfare, is what made the partnership so natural.
