About Alu-Cab

Alu-Cab is a leader in overlanding and touring gear, known for rugged, trustworthy products built to handle the most demanding environments. From rooftop tents to awnings, they design with both durability and comfort in mind, exactly the gear we’ve come to rely on for long journeys.

We’d been using Alu-Cab gear (roof conversion, awning, etc.) for some time, sharing lots of imagery of our Troopy build on social media, gear we genuinely love. Alu-Cab Australia had noticed, and in September, we messaged them via Instagram to invite them to join our dog rescue campaign. Their response was immediate and enthusiastic. Two days later, we had a meeting. They then coordinated with Alu-Cab HQ in South Africa, and it all came together smoothly.

Once the tray and canopy are fitted by EZ Toolbox, Alu-Cab will handle the installation of all these accessories in their Melbourne workshop.

The experience with Alu-Cab

Working with the team at Alu-Cab has been brilliant, fast responses, sincere support, and real enthusiasm for what we’re doing. A standout moment was realising that they had just added dog collars to their product line, and were exploring ways to help dogs just as we reached out. Felt like it was meant to be.
